Mandee’s passion for hairdressing began while growing up in her mother’s Texas salon. Her love for hairstyling, both editorial and behind-the-chair, sparked her move to New York City in 2009. The cities grid, street style, and eclectic art scene instantly inspired Mandee's work. In 2014, Mandee joined Oribe as a global hair educator. As part of her commitment to spread love for the Oribe brand she's leading product launches, and hair workshops across North & South America, Europe and Asia.

In addition, Mandee has been a regular backstage at fashion week in New York, Milan, and Paris, assisting Guido Palau, James Pecis, Anthony Turner, Holli Smith, and Kien Hoang for brands such as Givenchy, Balenciaga, Moschino, and Valentino, to name a few.

Most recently, Mandee served as the lead stylist for Maiden Noir and Sandy Liang during New York Fashion Week. Her extensive experience on set has earned her features in leading editorial publications such as Vogue, Institute Magazine, and Sweets Magazine. She also has had the privilege of styling celebrity guests for the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.

Mandee can also be found behind the chair at Suite 303 a hip hair salon nestled in the heart of NOHO formerly located at the Chelsea Hotel.
